Jewel at 8 months old on her first duck hunt! |

| Tom writes: "Yesterday, Jewel flushed and retrieved her first wild grouse. She flushed it and watched it as it flew. I shot it and when it fell she ran to it. I was so proud when she picked it up and brought it to me. She was sure excited. I will be taking her next Saturday for pheasants. I took her to the duck pond this morning for the first time. I am sending pictures of her first duck retrieves. Two mallard drakes, one mallard hen, and one green winged teal. The guys that were with me could not believe she is only 8 months old and did as well as she did. We will hunt ducks until Dec. or until it gets too cold or too much snow." | |
