DECEMBER 2000

December 10, 2000 -- At the NAHRA Benefit test, Katie, CH SR Lyric's Kay CD JH WCX CGC TDI, with owner Al Jenkins, qualified in the Intermediate test to earn her second WR leg!! Al and Katie spent the Christmas holidays hunting quail in Georgia.

OCTOBER-NOVEMBER 2000

November 11, 2000 -- At the Tidewater Retriever Club NAHRA test, Katie, CH SR Lyric's Kay CD JH WCX CGC TDI, with owner Al Jenkins, qualified in the Intermediate test to earn her first WR leg. Earlier, Katie qualified for another NAHRA Brass Band Award by passing 4 Started tests this calendar year. Congratulations Al and Katie!

SEPTEMBER 2000

Sept. 24, 2000 -- At the Richmond DOC agility trial, Cosmo, CH SR U-CD U-AGI Blazin's Back O' The Moon CDX JH OA WC CGC earned his first Agility Excellent leg with a score of 95 and second place in a class of 10!
Sept. 16, 2000 -- Cosmo's kids are born in NY -- 10 healthy black pups (5 males, 5 females), to Am/Can CH Blacfriar Classic Ashley JH Am/Can WC. See details.
Sept. 9, 2000 -- At the Catoctin Kennel Club agility trial, Cosmo, CH SR U-CD U-AGI Blazin's Back O' The Moon CDX JH *OA* WC CGC finished his Open Agility title with a score of 98 and first place in a class of 11!

July 15 - 19, 2000 -- Cosmo and Ashley, Am/Can CH Blacfriar TLC Classic Ashley JH Am/Can WC, are expecting a litter in September! Details

JUNE 2000

June 26, 2000 -- Katie, CH SR Lyric's Kay CD JH WCX CGC TDI, owned by Al Jenkins, whelped a healthy, liver male puppy, 14 ounces, around 9 AM!!
June 24-25, 2000 -- At the Tidewater Retriever Club's UKC/HRC hunt tests, Cosmo, CH SR U-CD U-AGI Blazin's Back O' The Moon CDX JH NA WC CGC, qualified both days in the Started hunt test.
June 2, 2000 -- Welcome to the world . . . the Blazin "E" litter has arrived!

MAY 2000

May 20, 2000 -- Another point for Rosie! Lyric's Little Rosebud, owned by Nancy and Ed Bower, now has 11 points with a major toward her Championship.
May 14-20, 2000 -- The National Specialty!! Cosmo, CH SR U-CD U-AGI Blazin's Back O' The Moon CDX JH NA WC CGC, finished his CDX in 3 straight trials! He won the run-off for 2nd place with a 181.5. Earlier, in the field, he qualified in the Junior Hunter and Working Certificate tests, and earned a Judges' Award of Merit in Unsteady Singles B. Finally, he was handled by Dawn to 4th place in the Working Retriever Dog class, giving him his 3 successful areas of competition for the Triple Crown Award.
Only 10 flat-coats earned this award at the Specialty, including Cosmo and his mother Ravin, CH SR Lyric Queen Of The Mountain CDX JH NA WCX CGC Can CD WC. Ravin, handled by owners Dawn Buttion and Marty Archambeault, earned her Triple Crown Award by qualifying in JH, placing 2nd in Novice B 20" Agility, and placing 2nd in 9-11 Year Veteran Bitch Sweeps!

APRIL 2000

April 29-30, 2000 -- Ooh la la! Cosmo, CH SR U-CD *U-AGI* Blazin's Back O' The Moon CD JH NA WC CGC, made his debut in Open A obedience at the Hampton Roads OTC trials, earning his first 2 CDX legs with scores of 189.5 and 189, both 2nd place. Also, on Saturday afternoon he took Best of Breed at the Chesapeake Dog Fanciers Assoc. show, and on Sunday afternoon he finished his UKC Agility I title with a score of 199 and a time of 44 seconds on a 71 second course!!
April 22, 2000 -- At the Durham KC agility trial, Cosmo, CH SR U-CD Blazin's Back O' The Moon CD JH NA WC CGC, earned his second OA leg with a score of 95 and 3rd place, in a class of 12!
April 21, 2000 -- Happy Birthday to Cosmo, CH SR U-CD Blazin's Back O' The Moon CD JH NA WC CGC, who turns 5 today!
April 15, 2000 -- At the Hampton Roads agility trial, Cosmo, CH SR U-CD Blazin's Back O' The Moon CD JH NA WC CGC, earned his first OA leg with a score of 95, 1st place win! Time was 10 seconds under SCT.
April 6, 2000 -- Happy *10th* birthday to Blue, Ravin, Nessie, Chloe and Pepper!

MARCH 2000

March 18, 2000 -- At the Danville Kennel Club agility trial, Cosmo, CH SR U-CD Blazin's Back O' The Moon CD JH *NA* WC CGC, finished his Novice Agility title with a 95, 2nd place, and earned his first Novice Jumpers With Weaves leg.
March 12, 2000 -- Kesey, Lyric's Merry Prankster TD, handled by owner Kyla Carlson, was Winners Dog for a major at the Del Valle show in CA. Kesey now has 11 points toward his Championship!
March 11, 2000 -- At the Gloucester Kennel Club sanctioned agility match, Cosmo, CH SR U-CD Blazin's Back O' The Moon CD JH WC CGC, qualified with a clean run score of 100 and 20 seconds to spare!

FEBRUARY 2000

Feb. 19-20, 2000 -- What a weekend! On Saturday, Katie, *CH* SR Lyric's Kay CD JH WCX CGC TDI, owned by Al Jenkins of MD, finished her Championship in SC with a 4-point major and Best of Winners over a major in dogs.
On Sunday, Rosie, Lyric's Little Rosebud CGC, owned by Nancy and Ed Bower of WI, was Winners Bitch for 2 more points, giving her 10 with a major.
Also on Sunday, Reggae's great-grandson Vita, *CH* Blazin's Doppelbock WC CGC, owned by Tina and Scott Borden of MD, finished his CH with a 4-point major.
And both days, Cosmo's half brother Zeus, BIS/BISS Flatford Zeus The Major God JH WCX, owned by the Farwells of IL, won his 6th and 7th Best in Show awards! Congrats to all!!
Feb. 15, 2000 -- Happy 5th Birthday to Katie, Rosie, Perdie, Lori, Kesey, Jesse, Ajax, Rhett, and Reilly!
